Thematic Direction: What is Peace?

The 2024 thematic question, "What is Peace?" invited participants to explore peace from multiple perspectives, challenging traditional definitions and expanding our understanding of what sustainable peace can entail. This theme fostered a reflective atmosphere where participants could engage deeply with what peace means in their own contexts and its practical applications in a diverse world. Call for Applications

Geneva Peace Week 2024 invites organizations to apply to participate as Event Organisers, offering a collaborative space to engage with other peace actors on current and future peacebuilding challenges. Applicants can organize on-site events within one of the three thematic tracks, selecting from two engaging formats: Peace Panels or Peace Workshops. These formats enable partners to share unique insights, present research findings, and facilitate interactive discussions, fostering a dynamic environment for advancing meaningful peace solutions.
