This workshop explores the crucial intersection of peace, climate, and food security, focusing on how environmental degradation and food systems can contribute to conflict and instability and vice-versa. Despite recent policy advancements, such as the COP28 Declaration and the Pact for the Future, efforts to address these intertwined challenges remain insufficient. Participants will engage with experts from diverse backgrounds to discuss innovative peacebuilding strategies that integrate both environmental sustainability and food security. Through the interactive panel, breakout groups, and policy-oriented discussions, the session will emphasize the role of young people in shaping a resilient and peaceful future, linking local insights to global policy action.
