A Word from our Fundraiser, Gabriela Buser
Earlier this year and for the first time in its history, the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform launched a fundraising campaign. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for people to unite and make a difference in creating meaningful change during the Geneva Peace Week (GPW). Fundraising plays a vital role in fostering positive change by harnessing the collective power of generosity.
Asking for money is a difficult undertaking, but when you realize you are building rather than asking, the mission gets easier, because fundraising is all about making new connections and cherishing existing ones. As a result, in honor of our 10-year anniversary, we are pleased to announce the addition of new valued partners that share our vision and support our initiative. These partners include the Services Industriels de Genève (SIG), the Etablissements publics pour l'intégration (EPI), the Fondation Aigues-Vertes, the Festival International de Film de Droits Humains (FIFDH), and a private Swiss foundation, among others.
The GPW celebrates a major milestone this year and we are also excited to share with you all the upcoming activities and surprises we are currently working on. Thanks to our new collaborations, we aim to elevate the participants’ experience, offering you a rich cultural and artistic event. So, don't forget to SAVE THE DATE: From October 30th to November 3rd.
It is our purpose to continue building bridges between local and international Geneva, to highlight the wonderful work of the peace community, and to support projects from all organizations fighting for a better world.
