The selection process for Geneva Peace Week 2024 is complete!
The Geneva Peace Week consortium is excited to announce that the call for applications for organisers to contribute to the official programme for 2024 has closed successfully. Over seven weeks, we received an impressive 122 applications, each reflecting high-quality proposals based on the key themes identified for the 11th edition of Geneva Peace Week (GPW).
The consortium faced the challenging task of selecting the best applications from an array of excellent proposals. We are pleased to highlight some of the most successful keywords that emerged from the application process:
Environment, Climate and Peace
Local Actors and Local Communities
Peace and Tech
Prevention and Root Causes
Peace Responsive Approaches
Gender, Minorities and Identities
Sustainable Peace Infrastructures, Initiatives and Institutions
We extend our thanks to all who participated in this process, especially those who, despite the quality of their submissions, were not selected due to the limited number of spots available.
The final programme will be released on Monday, 16 September. Registration to attend Geneva Peace Week will also open on this date.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement.
