This new informal platform in the framework of the Geneva Peace Week will connect two high-level representatives from Geneva and New York to explore the complementarities between Geneva and New York in the field of peace and security, including interactions with the UN Security Council. It will discuss how the Geneva and New York should build on their respective strengths and work more coherently to the benefit of peace and security, exploring in particular how the New Agenda for Peace can be advanced as a matter of priority.
