Policy and Research Fellow

Cyprien Fluzin is an international law researcher and lecturer specializing in the study of peace and security, human rights, migration, and terrorism. He supports the Platform on the research and policy aspects of its work. 

Currently a doctoral researcher at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Cyprien is also an adjunct lecturer at Sciences Po in Paris (France), where he teaches subjects related to global security, violence, use of force, and international law. 

Previously, Cyprien worked for the Bulan Institute for Peace Innovations, the Global Migration Centre, the Harvard Program on International Law in Armed Conflict and the International Committee of the Red Cross and contributed to the work of Geneva-based UN bodies, including the International Law Commission, the Human Rights Committee, and the Committee Against Torture. In 2023, he was a visiting fellow at the International Center for Counter-Terrorism in The Hague (Netherlands). Cyprien is a graduate of Harvard Law School, the Geneva Graduate Institute, and the University of Strasbourg.
